Common Questions
How does the heater work?
The electric heater is controlled by a simple on/off switch inside the sauna. You control the temperature to get the experience that you want!
What are the power requirements?
The sauna plugs into any standard 120v receptacle (GFCI) found outside your home or event area.
The heater is capable of running off a generator at 120v or 240v!
How hot does it get?
As hot as you want it to be! There is no pre-set temperature settings, the heater will make heat for as long as the switch is in the ‘on’ position.
The experience is designed to be a medium heat, high humidity sauna. We are not trying to sear a steak, we want the heat energy to saturate deep within your body.
The most common temperature range is between 43-50*c and 100% humidity.
What about electricity + water?
The sauna has no exposed electrical terminals that will come in contact with water during normal operation.
Adding water to the heater rocks is an essential part of the sauna experience and is perfectly safe to do so!
When operated correctly, you will be soaking wet!
How Many People Does It Fit?
The sauna can easily seat 5 friends!
Or 7 people that really, really like each other!
The long bench will allow someone 6’1″ to lay down and the short bench allows one person to lay down with their knees up.
